F.A.Q

What types of photography do you offer in La Réunion?

I offer full wedding coverage, couple sessions, portraits in natural light or in the studio, as well as real estate, tourism and product packshot shoots. My approach is always the same: listen to your needs and bring the style that speaks to you.

How do I book a photo session?

Simply contact me using the form on the website or by phone. Together we'll define the date, location and type of session, then I'll send you a personalized quote. Reservations are confirmed on receipt of the deposit.

How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer?

On Reunion Island, the peak wedding season is very popular. While it's sometimes possible to find a slot close by, it's still advisable to book between 6 months and a year in advance to guarantee your date, especially between September and December.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

For a portrait or family session, retouched photos are delivered within 1 to 2 weeks. For weddings, the deadline is 4 to 6 weeks maximum. For sports coverage, corporate events or tourism, I offer the Press Express option, which includes delivery of a selection of photos within a very short timeframe (24 hours maximum).

Do you work in black and white, color, or both?

I always deliver a balanced selection: bright, natural color images, but also artistic black-and-whites (an area that particularly appeals to me) when the rendering lends itself to it. Each photo is designed to bring out the emotion of the moment.

Do you retouch photos?

Yes, all the images I deliver are carefully retouched (light, colors, framing). I prefer retouching that is above all faithful to the atmosphere in which I work.

Do you deliver high-resolution digital files?

Yes, all services include delivery of high-definition files, suitable for print runs, as well as a version optimized for online sharing.

Do you offer albums or paper prints?

Yes, and that's an important point. I work with professional labs to offer high-end albums and prints on art paper. It's a great way to bring your memories to life.

Do you travel all over Réunion Island?

Yes, I cover the whole island, from north to south, west to east. Whether you're planning a wedding in Saint-Denis, a couples session in Saint-Gilles or a photo shoot in Cilaos, I'll come to you.

Is it possible to do a photo shoot in the cirques (Cilaos, Salazie, Mafate)?

Of course you can! These places offer unique scenery. You just have to anticipate the logistics and weather conditions, but the flavour of La Réunion lies in these grandiose landscapes.

Do you shoot on the beach or in the forest?

Yes, and it's one of my specialties. Sunset beaches and tropical forests offer extraordinary light and atmosphere. However, it's important to anticipate how busy the beaches are, so that you can be there on the days or at the times when you'll enjoy the best possible privacy.

Do you have any suggestions for locations for a couple's photoshoot in Reunion Island?

Yes, and there's plenty to choose from! Beaches from the West to the South, the waterfalls of Salazie, the panoramic views of Cilaos, or more intimate spots like Entre-Deux or the forests of the upper reaches of the island can all bring you their unique ambiences. I always propose ideas and locations to suit your style and desires.

I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, can you help me relax?

It's very common, and that's my role as a photographer: to put people at ease. I favor exchanges, natural situations, and a relaxed atmosphere that transforms the session into a pleasant moment.

Do you have any experience with multicultural or religious weddings?

Yes, I've covered weddings with a variety of traditions: Catholic, Tamil, Muslim, Creole... I adapt to each culture and respect the rituals to highlight them in my images.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the shoot?

On Reunion Island, the weather can change quickly. If it rains, that doesn't mean there won't be any photos! And weddings are always protected moments that allow us to create beautiful images.

Do you have any suggestions for locations for a couple's photoshoot in Reunion Island?

Yes: the beaches of the West, the waterfalls of Salazie, the panoramas of Cilaos, or more intimate places like Entre-Deux or the sugar cane fields. I always come up with ideas to suit your style and desires.
